Product Description:
UREAstabil is a nitrogen fertilizer based on urea, which is treated with a urease inhibitor. This inhibitor delays the transformation of the fertilizer in the soil so that the nutrient efficiency of the applied nitrogen is increased.
Target Application and Effect:
By inhibiting the enzyme urease, the conversion of urea to ammonia is significantly delayed. The nitrogen is thus not defined as ammonia; it can penetrate into the root zone more quickly and therefore improves the accessibility to the plant.
Thereby, the so-called "slow" effect of urea based upon ammonium determination is eliminated. The urease inhibition remains there, depending on temperature, for some weeks.
Another advantage is that the nitrogen loss due to ammonia volatization into the atmosphere is reduced.

Application Recommendations:
The chosen delivery date and the application date are dependent on soil type and the precipitation conditions in the region. According to the precipitation conditions: In regions with secure precipitation later dates are selected from the recommended application; in dry regions, the early dates are selected.
According to soil types: On lighter soils in the lower third of the recommended doses are selected for the medium and heavy soils, the administration in the whole scope of the recommendation in the fertilization system, the cultural expectations and earnings forecasts are used. In regions with typical dry periods earlier and higher doses are more favourable. Depending on the culture, it is possible to apply all the fertilizer N application at planting or regeneration fertilization unique.
